1ST ANNUAL THUNDER CLASSIC TOURNAMENT

The 1st Annual Thunder Classic sports tournament was a success marking a soft opening of the new Thunderchild Wellness Centre. The tournament featured a 16-team All-Native Senior Hockey Invitational and a Play-For-Your-Reserve Volleyball Tournament with up to 16 men’s and 24 women’s teams.

THUNDERCHILD NEW WELLNESS FACILITY IS OPEN

We welcome everyone to enjoy the amenities we offer. By bringing together these services in one place, we hope to make it easier for the community in Thunderchild First Nation and the surrounding areas to access the resources they need to lead healthy and thriving lives.

This centre will be a hub for Thunderchild First Nation, as well as the vibrant surrounding communities of Turtleford, St. Walburg, Edam, Spruce Lake, Mervin, Live Long, Glaslyn, Turtle Lake, Witchekan Lake, Pelican Lake, Makwa Lake, and Loon Lake.
